Jamie Ivey

Jamie Ivey believes that stories change the world, and that belief has been her motivation as Jamie has fostered a community of listeners who are eager to hear from others with different life experiences or unique perspectives. Since 2014 when she launched her podcast, The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey, she has elevated the stories of women and men chasing hard after Jesus. Above all, Jamie’s desire is for people to know Jesus and to believe that He created them with a purpose: To bring Him glory with what He has placed in front of them.

Jamie is the author of If You Only Knew: My Unlikely, Unavoidable Story of Becoming Free (B&H, 2018), You Be You: Why Satisfaction and Success Are Closer Than You Think (B&H, 2020), God Made You To Be You (B&H Kids, 2021), and Why Can’t I Get It Together? (Thomas Nelson, 2024).

Jamie lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband Aaron and four children. She loves college football and her newfound love of walking as a spiritual discipline, and she remains committed to trying every new restaurant in her foodie town.
