Nick Connolly is the founding and lead pastor of Bright City Church. Bright City is passionate about being a light in culture, living out the way of the bright, and creating a space where people can not only come to church, but encounter a living and powerful God who loves them.

Additionally, Nick loves to be involved in entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2013, he helped his wife create Naptime Diaries, an online print shop that eventually became All Good Things Collective. He now helps Jess run Go + Tell Gals and coaches other entrepreneurs, pastors, and small business owners when he isn’t busy pastoring Bright City Church. His debut book, Don’t Give Up Just Yet: Choosing Persistence in a World of Overwhelming Resistance, released in 2024 with Tyndale House.

Nick wants to help people keep going in their individual callings as they experience the power and presence of God in their daily lives. He loves books of all kinds and is overwhelmingly grateful to be writing his own with the help of Illuminate.

Nick and his wife, Jess, live in Charleston, SC, with their four kids Elias, Glory, Benja, and Cannon.
