Kate Lab is a poet and artist based in Lancaster, PA, and the founder of Kate Creates, where she shares original poetry, artwork, lament cards, and devotional studies. She holds a BA in Biblical Theology from Moody Bible Institute and writes poetic prayers that explore grief, longing, and redemption, pointing readers toward the unshakable hope of Christ.

Her poetry has been featured on Risen Motherhood, Well-Watered Women, Humana Obscura, and other platforms. Passionate about the intersection of art, faith, and storytelling, she has authored Advent, Lent, and Easter studies, pairing her poetry and artwork with original music by her twin sister, singer-songwriter Sarah Sparks.

Kate lives in Lancaster with her husband, Joe, who pastors a small church, and their two sweet children, Ethan and Eliza. She loves coffee, birdwatching, Philadelphia sports, and a great epic fantasy story.
