Nicole Unice

Nicole Unice is a bivocational leader, serving both in the ministry and in the marketplace. As a pastor and community leader, Nicole is the author of several books on healthy faith, honing in on the connection between our emotional and spiritual life. Her latest book, Not What I Signed Up For (Tyndale, 2024), takes readers on a journey through the biblical story of Joseph—thirteen years of conflict, abandonment, and captivity—to help see how God uses life’s hard times, twists, turns, and in-between spaces to grow something essential in our souls. Nicole’s books come to life through her popular video curriculum series found on RightNow Media.

As a sought-after speaker, Nicole has a down-to-earth style that allows even the largest gathering to feel conversational. In addition, Nicole is the host of How to Study the Bible, a popular weekly podcast that reaches people in 188 different countries in the last year alone, and preaches frequently for conferences and churches.

In the marketplace, Nicole is the Chief Operating Officer of Pangea Technologies, an early stage fintech with a redemptive vision to create equity in the global economy through AI-powered software. (Yes, she’s as surprised as anyone to find herself here—but God is the one who orders our steps!)

Nicole makes her home in Richmond, VA, which she shares with her husband and three almost-young-adults. Nicole holds degrees from the College of William and Mary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and serves on the board of Rise Richmond, a local nonprofit focused on restorative work with young people in poverty.
